Are all effects of the digital guitar made by the boss?

I know that Boss is owned by Roland, a company of great synthesizer, so I would feel the effects for Boss to model numerically. But are all made by effects Boss digital, analog or offer too?

In a very general sense, most pedals are not "digital" or delay at least multi-effects pedals. Remember, digital does not mean that "uses integrated circuits," means there is a conversion from analog to digital code, the code is treated in a microcontroller or a dedicated chip code effect is passed through a digital / analog converter, where it leaves the pedal. All Products Line 6 are digital, for example. Some of them have tubes or it yes, but the heart device is a digital chip and algorithm. Any product that Boss said MSOC is digital. Delay pedals are not necessarily digital - you can use specialized integrated circuit chips that are created to provide the signal delay, but not all are "digital" in itself. Its not a big deal to connect a few all-pass filters together and create a phaser pedal sounds good vs. putting additional tabs to make it numerically. That, and the distortion - distortion pedals are * easier to design, the circuits are less complex and thus more often analog and digital.
