What is a good piece of DJ equipment that has a BPM "tap" counter and maybe a sampler/looper too?
I am looking for some kind of DJ gear that could operate maybe as a standalone substitute for a DJ mixer, or could work side-by-side with my current mixer, by way of 1/4" plugs (send and receive). I'm definitely looking for (at the very least) a BPM counter, but would prefer something with a BPM counter, Effects Processor, and sampler/looper. I currently have a Pioneer DJM-500 mixer, which has onboard effects and beat counter, but find it is not adequate for my needs.
