The recording of Electronic Music?

Hi, I'm new to recording music and I hope now that the software would be good for the production of electronic music on a Mac, and this type of equipment do I need? Like, what could I use a Moog Voyager rack for?

I do not know exactly what a Moog Voyager rack is, but I would like to pick one thats kind of synthesizer with great effects and what not. Some good programs for all types of music FL Studio (also known as FruityLoops. It takes time and practice to learn to use all this tuff, But YouTube is a good place to start because there are videos that show you how to make a lot of things. Good luck with everything
