How do I connect my Midi Keyboard that looks like a USB printer connected to my MPC?
I have a Yamaha DXG 200 with a MIDI keyboard. All it has the connection in the back for a printer () USB. What kind of adapter / cords, etc. I need to bind the MPC download my tunes for keyboard pads on my MPC. MIDI to most USB cables on the market have an apartment (Traditional), USB to MIDI
I read the manual DGX 200 (seeking alpha blending DXG yielded no results) in http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/emi/english/port/DGX200E.pdf This manual does not show a way to save the USB connectivity for use with MIDI connectors USB Midi Interface (see page 68 of manual reference above). The USB connection you described must use a standard USB "B" (which is normal in a USB cable). Would you have a DGX 220? This model has the connector that you describe, if you have the Companion CD that came with the keyboard, is the necessary element other driver files. No driver support for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP (pp. 88-89), but no driver is listed for any Mac operating system (I can not tell if a Mac is plug-and-play "Incompatible or manual). Manual for this model can be downloaded from Yamaha here: http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/emi/english/port/dgx220_en_om.pdf If you do not have the CD for the driver files must be able to download them from Yamaha. I have taken similar steps to use my Motif MO6. Throughout his micmyers question refers to "MPC" What does this mean? Normally the cards in my experience could be used to shorten the spokesman for word, but certainly not entirely irrelevant. While I explored the applications of the USB connection to a computer, I do not know if I answered your question at all. Please specify what "MPC" means. EDIT: After exploring the Mediterranean partner countries (namely, the production centers of music, as seen www.akaipro.com look a little more sophisticated "drum"), I think you need a computer to do what he wants. There must be an operating system somewhere in the circuit of these devices communicate with each other.
